Investment and Results
We understand the commitment you are making in both cost and time for your child’s success. Below are words of encouragement from families that have made the same investment you are considering. Jennifer and her team at Anderson Speech Therapy work endlessly to provide outstanding services tailored to your child’s strengths and weaknesses.
I have had the pleasure to work with Jennifer as a colleague at a pediatric clinic in San Diego. During our time together, I observed her as having a positive attitude while remaining highly professional on a daily basis. Despite any challenges Jennifer faced, from client behavior to paperwork deadlines, she always maintained a calm demeanor and focused on solving the problem at hand. Jennifer was always open to assist me by providing me feedback and guidance regarding a client case when I needed it. As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) working with a variety of deficits, I appreciated that so much. We also shared a variety of caseloads in which we could collaborate on the use of an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device. While we were able to work together in implementing AAC devices for our clients, we were able to make significant progress! Jennifer is a team player and always focused on reaching success with each of her clients. In addition, I was able to observe Jennifer during a private session in which she demonstrated her expertise in treating children with Apraxia and oral motor deficits. Not only was she an excellent therapist in her delivery of treatment, but she was also a great mentor. Jennifer took the time to explain each treatment plan in detail before, during, and after the session to ensure I gained the most accurate knowledge. Needless to say, she exerts a comfortable and warm presence for both colleagues and clients. I would highly recommend Jennifer as your Speech-Language Pathologist OR your supervisor!

Jennifer provided speech therapy services for 2 of our triplet boys, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her expertise, friendliness, and professionalism. She always patiently explained what she would be working on with the boys each week, was able to incorporate all members of our family into the therapy and helped us as the parents to confidently implement the techniques she taught us to help our boys. Jennifer was always willing to listen to, and answer our questions and concerns. If you are looking for a top-notch speech therapist who your children will look forward to learning from, we highly recommend Anderson Speech Therapy!

Jenn is very easy to work with and makes us feel validated in our concerns, but more importantly, it gave us goals to meet and tailored strategies to achieve those goals. We felt Jenn gave us lots of attention and we were not rushed in our time with her.
One thing that really stands out about Jenn is her creativity in strategies, and finding the root of the problem rather than giving us a standard fix. Other people had encouraged us to” just use sign language” until my son started speaking on his own. Jenn however, gave us customized exercises that seemed goofy, but he started making progress within 2 days of these “weird” exercises!! She spent time really listening to what I told her I saw and was very patient and loving as she played, and got to know my son.
I highly recommend Jenn, with exceptional knowledge, and education she is the best in her field!

I love that Jennifer and my child work together in a quiet environment learning new skills and then occasionally meet at the zoo or a museum, where he can practice using his new skills in a real-life situation. She has helped him with his volume, his intelligibility, and regulating his breath. As his speech skills are improving, so are his readings skills, which has been great to see.
